pencil test

I was in complete awe of this comic book artist http://diablo2003.deviantart.com/art/Thor-page-and-tutorial-202049831 Mark Brooks- check out his youtube to see a speed drawing, it took him 9 hours to "pencil" and "ink" one Thor comic page... incredible! The most amazing part is it is all digital. I found the pencil brushes he uses and decided to give it a go- this is an incoherent and not anatomically correct arm, but it gets the point across. Definitely needs practice but I will be playing around with them a lot more

  1. Hey man, where did ya get those pencil brushes from? They look great, I've been looking for some for a while that actually look good, but couldn't ever find any.

  4. Yeah I'm curious to see if it will fully take over. I mean digital color is a given, and any more, inking digitally makes sense... There is still something to be said about holding a pencil against a comic board... I'll find that link here in a second
