Just a piece i did tonight, found some good reference and decided to just go for a nice portrait, but of course I had to make it something robotic...stupid me. The text was kind of an after thought, originally I was going to use that circus/western looking font to make it look like a sideshow or carnival attraction, but decided to go with the art- deco approach to the poster, sort of 8th wonder of the world type thing...Like the '33 King Kong. Also utilized a little texture, wondering if it was too much...
This took a little longer than most of my impatient pieces, about 2 plus hours in PS, then about 45 minutes in illustrator working on TEXT
