WWII Mech

This is a concept for a world war II inspired American Mech. This will go in my portfolio as a stand alone design, and it will also be a part of a propaganda poster. I was heavily inspired by the Sherman tanks of WWII, I think the green is a little too bright and will need some fixing, needs more of an olive color.

Crits are welcome!

  1. Aw man kylo your work is getting more detailed, you're showing more working parts in your mech wrok, and the value structure is pretty nice.
If anything, I would say watch the hip joints because they look a little strange and the feet because the rest of the piece has pretty good for and then they are sort of flat.
    Really nice work though.

  2. Thank you Thank you miss meg- I couldn't agree more with the hip joints and gears and what do you call them.... I don't know... I need sleep. I am definitely going to rework it because I have spent too much time looking at it. I hope I didn't over do the poster with the rips. I am sure there are a million things wrong with it that need to be fixed but I am going to pass out haha

    Thanks again Meg

  6. Oh no ha ha! I meant all of that shiny goodness, reflections, scratches rivets and whatnot that you painted. The paper textures are sweet too though (but not quite as sweet as the model number you gave that guy)! Thanks a ton for the shout out on your page by the way. I need to get one of those badboys for mine too!
